A warm welcome to our website! We're so happy to have you here!
Our names are Nathan and Gabriella, and we're the ones running the show behind the scenes at The Card Mart. If we may, we'd love to share our story with you and tell you a bit more about us and how we got here.
For me (Nathan), my Pokémon journey began way back in 1999, when the first ever TCG cards arrived in the UK. I was at primary school then, and I have fond memories of saving up my pocket money to buy booster packs every once in a while when I was lucky enough to have saved up enough pocket money to do so. I still remember the sheer joy when I opened that shiny Charizard, and all my friends at school wanting to trade for it!
We have 3 amazing boys, the eldest of which is absolutely addicted to Pokémon and he has single-handedly dragged us back into the nostalgia-fuelled rollercoaster ride that is Pokémon card collecting as adults. Let me tell you, he is beyond ecstatic to help us out building this Pokémon retail venture!
My company (Isoteca Ltd) was incorporated in 2022, and has been our vehicle for various e-commerce ventures since then. Although this site and venture is new, we have many years experience between us in e-commerce, mainly selling toys & games through Amazon and eBay for the past 4 years.
In December 2024, we were absolutely privileged to be accepted as a retailer by Asmodee UK - the UK's main supplier of new, sealed Pokémon TCG products. This has enabled us to, throughout 2025 and beyond, offer the latest and greatest expansions for sale, and we're so so excited to begin shipping out the new Journey Together expansion sets as soon as they arrive with us in March this year.
We may be a Magikarp in a pond full of Gyrados, but one thing's for sure is that nothing is too much trouble for our customers. Our small scale and family-run setup allows us to personally reply to and converse with you, our customers, and go that extra mile to make sure your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.
We have been blown away by the support from you all so far, but please know that we do not take that support lightly. We will always keep improving what we do, adding our own unique twist - to ensure that all of you have a pleasant and wholesome experience when dealing with us.
